Hey
I figure with the new album coming out in a week or two, it was time for some White Stripes. Well I hope you had a good 3 day weekend. I'd post news, only I really didn't get any, and frankly I'm kind of out of it. Saturday we cleaned. Lord, how we cleaned. I also, in between cleaning, picked up a Bluegears b-Enspirer 7.1 sound card, using that CMedia Oxygen chip. I got it mostly because I don't think my Audigy will ever work right in Vista, because I wanted me an optical out, and because I've never really liked EAX for games anyway. So far, it's a pretty cool card. Music sounds awesome, and that was one thing I always thought the Audigy was good it. But it's got nothing on the b-Enspirer. I may even review it, what the hell. It's been awhile. Sunday we had our little party, which had a lot of kids running around and a lot of grownups playing Guitar Hero on the 360. A good time was had. Monday we were all pretty zonked. Sammy didn't really have a fun party because she controlled all the little ones, so we took her to a movie for doing such a good job. Rotten Tomatoes wasn't being kind to Shrek or Pirates ( and I wasn't fond Shek or Pirates 2 to begin with) so we went to a second run theater and caught Meet the Robinsons. Not as flashy, but pleasant. We all were amazed at how a theater that was brand new not all THAT long ago was now a second run place with grass growing through the asphalt and more employees than customers. Which is how I like it, actually. Then we went home and fell asleep to a Doctor Who marathon on BBC America. Not quite as good as falling asleep to say, a Mystery Science Theater 3000 marathon, but those days are gone. Sigh. At any rate, got to try and wake up enough to go to work. You go have a day.
