Old school Gene Vincent.

Oh hell, I'm tired. Luckily, I only work 2 days this week.

Saturday I had plans, but ended up not really doing them. Frankly, I don't really recall Saturday all that much, aside from a long nap after shopping downtown. Sometime about needing to spend a gift certificate, I dunno, it's all a blur.

Sunday we went to see Ratatouille, which we all thought was really good. I'm not one of those people bothered by seeing an animated film about rats in a kitchen. But then, people really think kitchens are a whole lot cleaner then they really are.

Then we ate, then we did yet another 2 hours of shopping. I should mention this is girl shopping, something I'm not very good at, but it was a nice day for it. Still, I'm tired, and all I got out of it was a pack of oversized smarties. Which actually, is pure profit on my part, so I can't complain.

I honestly don't know what news I'll be doing this week, what with being off and having the kids and the holiday, so expect me to be kind of uneven and even, not here. I have no idea what I"m doing this week.

But I'll be doing something.

You go have a day.

Gene Vincent was a tragic man... Hit by a car while riding a motorcycle in 1955, injured in the car crash that killed Eddie Cochran in England in 1960, and hardcore alcoholic (which is eventually what killed him in 1971).

He's near and dear to my heart as a rockabilly fan and native Virginian (as was he)...

Race With The Devil is my favorite!
