Because I spent the whole day training a new guy, I had zero time to do news. Shame too, there was some quality heatsink reviews in there, man. Oooh, you so missed out. Ah well, I half wonder how much people even car about the news anymore anyway. I know they care about me, because hey, how could you not? I’ve been screwing around with the PS3, trying to get to work as a media server like I have my Xbox. I’m not having a lot of luck yet, but I know that’s my fault. Somehow. It usually is. You know, it’s odd, because while I’ve owned many a console over the years, I’ve never owned this many at one time. Usually I skip some of them. But for some reason, I’ve just really been into consoles this past year, much more than I have been in a long time. I’m not sure why that is. Surely part of it is the decrease in PC games. And I think too that part of it is my kids, especially Sammy, who is now old enough to occasionally school the old man in how it’s done. Occasionally. I still got skills. I don’t know, gaming was usually just a solo experience for me, and now it’s a little more of a family affair. I mean, I’m a gaming whore, but I’m not usually this bad. Of course, each one serves a different need, I guess. The Wii is the whole family, and it’s Nintendo, so as always, it’s good for the kids. The Xbox is my machine, likely will still be the one I play the most. At least, till it dies. If it does. *knock wood* The PS3 is my blu-ray, more than a game machine. I just figured, hey, if I’m doing it anyway…. Anyway, I got to get back to training. Hopefully I’ll get some news out tomorrow. You go have a day.
