So I'm just sitting at the computer when I get call about the bridge going down. Must have been about 20 mins after it happened.

What a weird, strange thing. I mean, I'm not one that is going to go "that could have been me" when I haven't been near that bridge in a few years. But I did used to drive over it, and it's just sort of strange to me. Hard to process.

I mean, bridges are built well and inspected a lot, which is why it's so rare for them to come down. So the odds of one coming down that you know, you've used, are pretty remote. You just don't expect it. I imagine that was really true of the folks driving it.

Well, my heart goes out to those caught up in it.
