It’s Friday, and no one can take that away from you. They can crank up the damn heat and try to melt it out of you, though. Good golly I’m so done with the hot and really for Fall.

And fall will suck. I look forward to the pretty trees, but it’s been so dry, those leaves are going to turn brown and drop in record time. It will be a blink and you’ll miss it fall. I hate those. Last year, it seemed like the colors lasted for weeks, and it was great. This year I’ll be lucky if I still have leaves by the end of the month, unless we get some rain.

But I’ve done my part. I washed my car. Washing my car is like the universal signal to the rain gods to go ahead and get as messy as possible. It’s a sure thing. I never get to go more than one day with a clean car. Ever. I could live on a desert planet like say, Dune, and if I washed my car, there would be a hurricane the next day, despite there not being a body of water on the entire planet.

So…any time, now.
