Sick Sick Sick

Which is what I've been all weekend. Sick sick sick.

Left work early on Friday when my sinuses started to hurt, slept horridly that night, and was basically loopy all Saturday. Wasn't until that night I started feeling ok.

Sunday it's just all about the stuffy head. And going to Sears because my tires are crap and needed new ones. Then I went to the Sprint store to add a phone. Yes, I've become one of those parents that got their kids a cellphone, something I said I would never do. But, despite my misgivings, I do want her to be able to get a hold of me if something goes wrong or whatever, now that she is in middle school and taking the bus and all of that.

But there are some rules with that, you betcha. She's a good kid though, I'm not worried. And really, an extra 10 bucks a month isn't that big deal.

When I was a kid, it wasn't that big a deal, but then, you always had someone home and knew where everyone was or could possibly be. With dance and swim and drama and school and working and everything we seem to do today, life is just different enough that I can justify it to myself. Just.

Whatever, it's done. I'm going to go blow my nose 20 more times.
