Universal Music Group, you suck for not allowing embedded videos on YouTube. But I found one for weezer anyway, you bastards.

You know, companies that don’t understand how people work drive me nuts. People share cool things. They always have. They shared the wheel. They shared fire. They share good books, they traded tapes and LPs, the lend out DVD’s and whatever they think is cool because no one likes to be cool alone. We like to be cool in a group of cool people. Whether it’s quoting Monty Python to death or quoting Harry Potter books, it’s just how people are built. So when companies work right against that, it’s no wonder no one likes ‘em much.

I still feel kinda loopy, but I’m on the upswing. It’s funny, when you actually are in the heart of a cold, you feel lousy, but you many not sound all that bad. But for me anyway, it’s when the actual infection is defeated that I sound horrible, all stuffed up, but I actually feel pretty good.

This works to my advantage, since I can garner much more sympathy over the course of a longer period. Which is only fair, since having a cold sucks and should have the occasional upside.
