Well, yesterday my mother in law had to put her dog, Baby, down. So it was a sad day for her and Sammy.

Dogs are a bummer that way. They seem to pass quickly through your life. And dogs are just special.

Oh, I like cats. Cats don’t give a crap. Cat’s are dicks, really. Which is why I like them. Plus, they love me, but that’s only because they know I’m allergic to them. Also, because I am kind of a dick.

But dogs, for the most part, well they are your bud. They follow you around, hang on your every word, and only bitch when you refuse to put that mostly empty plate that contained a steak dinner on the floor RIGHT THIS DAMN SECOND. Dogs are buds.

Baby was a bug eyed freaky looking dog, but she was a bud. She was a good dog.
