So, I was bored, and on a whim joined facebook.

I dunno why. I’m not 13 with 2,000 friends. Mostly, it just kills some time during the day. And I’m starting to think that’s the point of twitter and facebook and myspace. Not to get a hold of people. Not to network. It’s mostly just something to kill time with. We don’t have a general need to farm, or hunt for food, and despite working huge hours and having no time to do things, we still find ourselves with time to kill.

It’s odd to me. How we can be so busy and so full of things to do, and still have too much time to kill.

Even without sound, that video was hilarious. Good find. Aww myspace and facebook. swallowing your free time since 1999. We get a mean game of scrabulous going ever now and again if you want another great way to waste time.
