Friday!!!
Well, it’s Friday, and no one can take that away from you. My wife and kids are heading up north for a few days starting Sunday, while I get all of the twin cities to myself. This always leaves me with mixed feelings. I mean, I’ll miss the wife and kids. A LOT. But. Not having to do the 2 hour dance that is required to get Stella to bed? AWESOME. Naked video game time? Priceless. I kid about the naked video game time (note: Not actually kidding) but having a little space is nice at times. Though I know, I’ll quickly, and I mean quickly, come to hate it. 20 years ago, I’d have loved every second of it but I’m rather used to the nuttiness.
