RIP Monday

Damn, it was a hard weekend for famous black artists. Huge bummer.

My weekend was odd. Saturday we were supposed to working on turning the Lounge into a more Sammy Friendly bedroomish area (the kids room is getting too small for a 12 year old and a 4 year old) but frankly, Greta and I were just lame tired and I had a headache I was battling most of the day. So we watched the Olympics.

Which had the coolest opening ceremony ever. Wow that was neat.

Sunday we were a bit more productive, completing phase one by moving crap that had wandered from storage into the lounge back into storage, moving a dresser downstairs, that sort of thing. Next weekend I need sort out my old computer testing area so Sam can use it for homework - and I need to sort out those books down there anyway. Then we did way too much back to school shopping. Bleh, I'm 39 years old and 21 years out of school and I still hate the term "back to school".

This week is looking like another slow, boring one at work, so I dunno, I suspect I'll sit around and dream about a 2009 Mazda6, because I saw one at the dealer on Thursday and immediately fell into hardcore lust. So want one.
