Oy, what a busy weekend.

Friday I took the little one to Chuckie Cheese, which was fine until about 15 minutes before we left, as suddenly everyone in the area realized they had the day off and showed up. We had fun though. Then we did a wee bit of shopping and mostly chilled that night.

Saturday I spent the day cleaning the garage and converting it to summer mode. Apparently I collected a lot more dust this winter then normally, but man it looks nice. Also wash and waxed the car for the first time this year - ah, she drives so much faster when she is shiny. Then we all got really grumpy at each other, went grocery shopping, and vegged in front of the TV after a mediocre session of Singstar.

Sunday, naturally we had a 5 year old hopped up on Peeps and Robins Eggs, so we went over to the in laws and had a nice meal. Sammy and I vegged out in our own private little DS world solving puzzles in Professor Layton, while Stella road her bike in the driveway. By the time we go home, it was pretty much time to go our separate ways as a family and zonk out. I didn't want to nap, but wanting and needing are two different things, I guess.

Busy weekend, but I feel good about the garage, so at least it was productive busy and not just running around busy.
