Happy Memorial Day
Well, I have had a productive weekend. Saturday I got up way too early, so I was itching to get going. Replaced a rotting piece of facia at the front of the house. It came out better then my projects usually do. Attacked a good portion of the hedges, culling back the ones touching the house. Took the kids to DQ. Zonked out by like 10:30. Sunday, AGAIN woke up way too early. Ran errands in the morning, met with a guy who is going to paint my house, then spent the afternoon scraping off loose paint and power washing - well, after I took apart my power washer and fixed it. Played a late night session of L4D. Today, I reckon there will be more paint scraping, though I have to get some things done this morning that I totally spaced on doing yesterday. I plan on trying to at least partially chill out today too. I'm running out of ambition, which is kind of why I'm paying someone to paint the house and not doing it myself. Not exactly relaxing, but I feel like I'm getting things done that I've let sit too long. You go have a (safe and happy Memorial) day.
