Weekend in a snap
Man, that weekend flew by. Saturday I did some yard work and picked up Infamous for the PS3. A rather Crackdown like game, really. I did a bit of trimming of plants away from the house, because today we have someone who will begin painting it. We also went to see Up, which we all rather liked, though personally I preferred last years Wall:E. It is yet another excellent Pixar movie. After that, I put in a new Auzentech Forte sound card to replace my B-gears one, since all the analog ports on the B-gears died. Which is the second time I've had that happen with that model card. So I went with the Auzentech, even though it uses Creative tech and I swore off Creative, I'm hoping the sounds drivers a bit less of a pain. So far, that is not the case, but the card sounds good enough. No, on board sound is not good enough for me. Sunday, spent some time trying to repair some dead spots in the lawn, though I dunno why I bother since it's been so dry, my lawn looks like it's dying anyway. Plus, I have a lot of wild daisies that have popped up, and other weeds, that I don't kill because I don't use weed killer because...well, I sorta like most of them. My lawn will never look like a golf course. Played some more Infamous, and took the kids to a park and out for some DQ. So yeah, a really packed weekend that just sort of flew by. Sucks that it's Monday. You go have a day.

I would have gone with an ASUS Xonar myself -- better than Creative in every way (OK... maybe not for EAX, but I rarely use that anyways).
Drivers are rock solid in Vista/Win7.
