Weekend Anthology
This weekend sort of felt like it was leftover from last weekend. Like a supplement edition to the actual weekend I had last week. Saturday I was kind of in a foul mood, as I was getting a little tooth pain. Felt like I might have lost a filling. Had a couple of friends over and while eating the best pizza in the world (Latuffs) the tooth broke. Not a major break, I'm hoping for just a partial crown or something, but it hurt. But it doesn't hurt now, so that's...well, not ok, but you know. I can't complain about a lack of pain. While we were chatting, suddenly the sirens went off and a major storm comes through with tornadoes. We could see the storm move across the sky north of us, and it pretty much came with in spitting distance, but it never did rain. But about a mile up the road, they had a tornado. Pretty wicked how close that came. Sunday I was kind of tired, and Stella was just pestering me to play Little Big Planet, so we did that for a few hours. Then we went over to Smashburger. We all agreed, it was kind of terrible. Especially for the money, it was really really terrible. With that sitting in our guts, we went over to the Shane Company and I had my wife pick out a ring for our upcoming 15th anniversary, due in just a couple of weeks here. Didn't get anything too expensive, but expensive enough that she won't actually have it for little while yet. Lay-A-Way is awesome though, glad it's making a comeback. Really, my weekend was like an anthology of smaller stories, lacking only a narrator to tie them all together properly. It was enjoyable, but lacking that something a single cohesive story would bring. You go have a day.
