DPvball

hi, i just installed windows ME on my system... and everything works fine except that when i use my sound card now, there are this little buzzing sounds that pop up every few seconds... i tried updating the driver but it still does the same thing. I know it has nothing to do with the speakers cause i tried several different speakers and they all are getting that popping. I have a creative ensonique audio pci. i was running windows 98se on my computer before and the sound card was working fine then. could someone please give me some help with this problem??? thanks :-)
