I have the Nomad II MP3 player with the Creative Nomad Manager software, which does not allow one to upload MP3 files to hard disk. Does anyone know of any kind of hack or different software which will allow me to upload MP3 files from my Nomad II to any computer's hard disk?

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.

Try updating it. I am using creative's software for the nomad II and I can upload from the player to the drive. I am not sure what version I am using (I am not at my computer now) but it is at the very least several months old. Just try downloading the newest version and you should be set.

Lightbulb If all else fails...

...connect the Nomad to the line-in on your sound card and use a recording program to dub it in real time. This will create a WAV file that you can convert back to an MP3.

Bare in mind, this is a last ditch solution. It will most likely result in some quality loss.
