Question

do any of you know which versions of windows, the win 200 0upgrade can build upon? i'm particularly curious about the relationship to windows 95, 98, and NT 3.5.

I'm also wondering if any of you know anything about the new packaging for the upgrade, that right next to the upgrade sticker, says "For PCs with or without Window." is that not enormously contradictory?

i'd be very thankful to anyone who could help me with these questions. later.

i think you can build on 95,98 or nt. i personally wouldn't bother with the "upgrade" version and just go for the clean install. you will be much happier.

you can upgrade... 95, 98, and nt... if you upgrade, you might have to reinstall some of the programs. i've seen it go both ways, some people have no problems when upgrading and some people have some problems... but honestly, the best thing is to just go for a clean install :-) hope that helps

I know you can upgrade from 95, 98, and NT 4. Not sure about NT 3.5... but why would you want to upgrade? The best solution is always a clean install.
