C'mon Cheapie and JMK...

You are taking a BLOG POST from a site named "The Right Coast" as a source for info on Kwanzaa? (isn't that a dead giveaway to the bias here?)

Geez... you can't get any more skewed and biased information than was presented on that website. If you want to learn more about it, why not visit the site of the folks who created it: http://www.officialkwanzaawebsite.org/index.shtml instead of posting some GARBAGE of someone's dissenting opinion of it?

BTW... I don't even celebrate Kwanzaa, but I don't condemn those who do. So why do some of folks get their tights in a wad over it? It's not being forced upon you if you don't want to participate, but it is offered as an option if you should want to choose to participate. (Unlike some of the other "Christmas Observances" which have gone over the top as to what you can and can't celebrate or display in public.) Heck, people have created their own RELIGIONS that aren't "traditional" which get less controversy than this.

I swear, it seems like this same topic rears it's ugly head every friggin' year. I wonder why?

BTW.. why is this in the SOFTWARE forum anyways?

i was NOT cracking on kwanzaa, the founders of the event, african-americans, etc!!! i was posting it because i was wondering why in the world google thought i might be interested in that article because my BIL had new pics of his baby.

i thought the smilies and my comments would have made that abundantly clear but i guess not.

But you are right it is very odd that Google would forward you a link to such a site as that.
