DIY Service Pack

Found on slashdot.com. (http://it.slashdot.org/it/06/12/12/2012220.shtml) direct link to site is http://www.heise-security.co.uk/articles/80682

This allows you to download all the updates for Windows 2000, XP, or Server 2003 onto an ISO image CD or DVD. So you can install updates on a machine not connected to the internet. This would come in handy for people that have slow dial-up connections. They could have one of their friends get this and update their computer faster than it would otherwise take.

So would this work to bring a fresh install of XP up to speed to the latest Security update? (To avoid the long proces of waiting and restarting your PC.)

Autopatcher would... It does take a little while to run, but it is unattended once you select your options and start it. Ryan's pack is meant to slipstream into an XPSP2 disc.
