Ghost and Laptop

If I have a secondary bay drive on my thinkpad with a secondary HD installed, which is larger. Can I ghost a copy of my primary and then swap them so that the larger one is now the one inside the laptop.

Yes. Ghost is able to do that. Here's a link to with a how-to: http://ghost.radified.com/

At the bottom of this page is links to the Symantec documentation for Ghost 9, 10 and 2003 versions: http://ghost.radified.com/ghost_1a.htm
