I am trying to get into the wonderful world of Divx, but I don't know where to look for divx movies at. Can anyone give me any ideas On where I can find Divx movies at?

Yeah... get with it, man! Seriously though, how lame was that Circuit City idea? LAME! And with that spokesperson guy in the commercials who looked like the dude who played Bo Kimble in the Hank Gathers made-for-TV movie... seriously lame.

Actually, the Circuit City DIVX idea wasn't all that bad. Looking from video rental stores' perspective that is. Imagine the aisles of video cassettes at Blockbuster. Now compare them with the CD section at, say, Best Buy.
You need much less space to display them, no problems with scratches on returned discs, no need to rearrange the returned stuff, etc. However, them requiring DIVX players to play them... that was the stupid part. Anywhos it was a neat idea, but the execution sucked. |
