running winXP on MBP

hey guys,

I want to get the new MBP, but i have to run winXP on it also for work. i just want to know how reliable the MBP runs XP ... since i've heard rumors that it's not so reliable (not sure what exactly isn't reliable). Any input from you all would be appreciated!

thanks!

ok - I'll admit it - I'm not a Mac fan.

It will run great. It's very stable and Apple provides a lot of the drivers for windows. There may be a situation where a peripheral or something might not work but that's rare. The MacBook Pro is essentially a PC nowadays.

My dad made me get him a Mac Mini and load Windows XP full time. Strange but true.

Are you going to run it in a Virtual Machine or in Bootcamp? I run it both, and it's rock solid for me. I actually use the VM to work from home.

Just wait until the googlebot scans this page. DF's acronyms will start showing up as well.
