Hi. I was wondering if there is a software dvd player for the PC that outputs in 16:9 anamorphic widescreen enhanced ? I tried PowerDVD which doesn't work, ATI player which has no option for it, and WinDVD. Am I just missing the option ? To explain it further, I have my computer with TV-Out (ATI Rage Fury 32) going to my Sony Wega which has that 16:9 enhanced feature, so it would be nice to output the video using widescreen format ... I am using an S-Video cable to go from the PC to the TV... I am eventually planning to buy a separate DVD player which has the setting for 16:9 output, but until then I was looking for a temporary fix... any advice would be appreciated, thanks...

i just need a software dvd player. have an ati 128 rage pro apparently the cd didn't come with a dvd software decoder. if it is possible(legal) could somebody burn me a copy of ati's dvd player. if not could u recommend me a good one that i can download. thanks

you can order one from ATI's web site. I think you might have to only pay shipping. Not sure though.
