pcprivacytool has hijacked my computer

I have run a scan with multiple programs and it doesn't find it or fix it.

Any ideas?

No idea, but you gotta admit the title of the tool is ironic

Thanks, zippy. Spyware Doctor found it, but to remove it, you must pay $29.95. I am looking for a deal for that program.

Oops - just notice that zippy posted the same removal instructions I was going to pass along (http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-pcprivacytool.html).

I bought Spy Sweeper at Office Depot (Free after Rebate). It doesn't identify it.

The best I can do is type pcprivacytool in PcCillin's restricted sites. When it goes there, a warning shows that it is restricted.

I don't know if it'll work, but it won't cost you anything but time to try...
