software beta testing
have you done any beta testing for software makers ?
i have for Microsoft - office 2007 and the game rise of legends. also did a beta test of warcraft years ago.

I tested Warcraft frozen throne. A little for WOW. I test for small companies that release little products. And i constantly beta test for my own company. Is there a question with this question?

I worked for Activision beta testing video games and I worked for Panasonic beta testing DVD's and players.

I beta tested the Symantec C++ compiler back in 1995. Got a free copy of the release version as payment.

Yep, officially and unofficially. I have beta-tested releases and applications that my previous employers and contract partners have released, and have unofficially tested many apps, patches, service packs, and the like for my own use. I'm a freeware junkie, so I run a lot of beta software and visit many beta websites.
