Creating a Chart of All My Fonts
I can't seem to find any information on how to do this. I want to create a visual chart of ALL the fonts I have installed on my system for quick reference. I do a lot of graphics work and I hate having to scroll through every single font I have in illustrator to find a good one. I wish I could just browse through a chart. There has to be some software that compiles the fonts I have and lays them out on a contact sheet or something....
Any ideas?

Google is your friend.
![]() http://www.mindworkshop.com/alchemy/fontrang.html I don't know anything about it, but it sounds like what you are looking for. It's shareware ($24.95) with a free trial. $25.00 is worth it just for the description of the program on their home page. ![]() Not sure if you have to print the contact sheet, or you can save it as a graphic. If you have the full version of Acrobat installed, you can print to the pdf print driver though. Quote:

Do a Google search on "The Font Thing" (with quotes). It's a freeware program that should do what you want.
