Vista Ultimate Question

So I finally got my laptop this week and I've been going to bed at 2 a.m. for the past two night just trying to get used to Vista Ultimate.

When I first turned on the laptop, there was this bar that was at the top of the screen that reminded me of a Mac. I turned that feature off right away and now I'm curious to get it back to play with it a bit more.

The problem is, I have no idea what it's called and I can't find it in the laptop. Does anyone know what that bar is called that was at the top?

I remember that you could only configure it to be on the sides or the top of the screen...

And it wasn't the sidebar that I'm looking for...

Thanks!

Was it the "Total Care Advisor" toolbar? What brand is the laptop?

I have an HP. On the desktop is an HP Advisor bar to monitor your computer's "health" and other HP related stuff. It has Yahoo Search on it.

If that's it, just click the HP logo on the taskbar and it will come back up. Or double click the blue icon with the two hands on it on the taskbar.

yeah, it does'nt sound like a vista ultimate thing. sounds like an extra app that your computer manufacturer put on there.

No, it was definitely something that resembled the Mac bar at the bottom of their screens. When I closed it, I opted for "Do not start when Windows starts" or something like that and now it's gone...or at least, I can't find it.

Hmm...I thought for sure that might be it. The icons on the advisor toolbar look cartoony, just like the MAC icons.

There is a theme you can download that has a toolbar like a Mac, I forget the name though, as I haven't used it in years. I installed it for fun on my Ex-G/f's laptop. Wasn't bad. Did the same effect.
