Try this reg update:
REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings] "MaxConnectionsPerServer"=dword:00000020 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings] "MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=dword:00000020 Cut and past into a text file and save as *.reg. Then import to reg. I put this together after searching to find out how to do this. This enables up to 20 downloads. Usefull if you have a fast connection Good Luck (With my name you may need it using my reg file !) |

Hexadecimal!
Quote:
It looks to me like it's a hexadecimal number, and really allows 32 connections. For 20 connections, 14 would be what you'd use. I haven't really tested it out, maybe it's my error in evaluating what REGEDIT tells me about the new keys in my registry...

you can also open a new instance of ie. 2 connections for each new instance. this will also provide a little more stability, such that if one crashes the other will keep downloading.
