Hi there, I chose an ELSA Gladiac as an implementation for a GeForce 2 board and it's quite the decent card (aside from not working with damn ref. drivers). I'm a sucker, so I went ahead and got the Video Modul too, hey it was like 25 bucks. The problem is that ELSA is quite the turtle when it comes to releasing drivers for their cards, and there is no Video In support for the modul. Now it seems that the modul functions as a standard video capture device, is there any way that I might be able to access it without specific drivers? I know this is a dumb question, but I'm not seeing ELSA coming out with drivers for this anywhere in the near future, and I'd also like to be able to get it working under Linux. Is anyone else as annoyed as I am at this? Or was no one stupid enough to buy the modul?

Thanks, that should be very useful for performance tweaks on my Linux install, but it doesn't pretain directly to the Video Modul, which is my problem at hand. Thanks anyway though
. I doubt there is any way outside of ELSA to get it to work, seeing they are the ones who have all the specs, and probably aren't releasing them in the public domain. I think I'll just have to bend over and take it until they release new drivers.Fannus |
