I have a Abit KT7-RAID.
I recently install the latest VIA 4in1 and Nvidia driver for my TNT2. The question is....which program will let me known I am running AGP 4x.
I was hopeing for something small and compact like CPUID.
I can't seem to find it anywhere. All I know is, I think
Ho-da makes it.....I think I spelled it wrong, but I can't seem to search them up anywhere.

Thanks

I found a program that lets you view your AGP and its current setting.

The site is h-oda.com.

And thanks choosenfool.
Well I know my card is doing AGP 2X.
Can't seem to get the other 2X.

I did the hack.

this is the value I used>
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nv4\Device0
"EnableVia4X"=dword:00000001

damn POS card. Fragging would be alot better.

Thanks....

Reinstall the 4 in 1's and be sure to check off 4X AGP. Use H oda's program and it will tell you if you are in 4X AGP, also make sure to select it in your Mobo's bios. You won't see any difference in 4X and 2X though...maybe a few extra points in 3D Mark, but that's about it.

Nope, none at all. I have a 1.1 TBird with a GeForce 2 Ultra and there is no difference in performance in 2X or 4X. Actually it's unstable in 4X with my setup.

I concur with G_Sup. Any difference between AGP 2X and 4X is miniscule.

Many Via chip set mobos are unstable with AGP4X enabled. Thats why GeForce drivers come with AGP4X disabled.

thanx guys.

I just thought that Counter Strike graphic would look better. But it would be nice to get what you pay for.
