I just upgraded to a T-bird 1.2Ghz, and put in an MSI K7T-Turbo mobo. Everything seems to be working fine, but for some reason it takes me 2-3 minutes to boot now...
I had a Celeron 466Mhz before, and I could boot in under a minute with that.. Could it be my HDD just didn't handle the shift to a new system very well? I really don't want to have to format and reinstall unless I really have to.... any other explanations???? |

It really is a good idea to do a clean install when changing motherboards. I think it's something to do with different IRQs, addresses and junk. But don't quote me on it.

Everything works Now
Hey, yep.. I tried a shorcut nor doig a clean install, because I had success just popping in the mobo when I replace it for a buddy of mine, I wasn't so lucky though, but after a nice format and a clean install, all's well again.. thanks for you help!
