I am wanting to start programming simple programs for the Palm. A couple of programs that I want to do are:
1) A simple data base that has pull down menus for options on the data areas. 2) A calculator that I can program certain equations. (Stuff you can do on MathPad but in a cleaner looking format.) What are some good programs to get (freeware or shareware preferred)? What are some good basic Palm programming books? If I get a book on simple C/C++ programming (such as Dummies guide to C/C++), is it easy to integrate this knowledge to the Palm platform? Thanks! |

Im interested in doing this too. i dont have that much programming experience other than c++. one thing i want to write right now is an independant program to display a schedule for a conference i am going to. i dont want it to be independant of any program which isnt included in palm os or isnt freeware. a nice way to do it would be to create drop down lists to cross reference speakers with times so someone can easily search lectures by either time or by speaker. any help will be greatly appreciated.
