im having a hard time finding win 98 se for less then $100, i want the compatability of windows but 100+ is to much considering how cheap or free linux os's are

you could always buy a copy....
I lost the origional....but if you email me...we can work something out. its completely usless to me...(i run win 2k)...so if you send me a prepaid padded envelope, i can mail it to you. PS. yes it really is a back-up of a copy I lost, I can send the actual Win98 book with it (if you want). Im pretty sure the last cd with jewel case that I mailed out was $3.49 book with lisence might push it to 5 or 6
