Need Info on reinstalling Windows 2k pro.

Hey I'm trying to reinstall my windows 2k without losing the information on the drive. Can I just reinstall over the old win2k and replace the os without losing info?

Ok thanks I hope it will be fine.. I really dont want to lose any info. got like 20gigs of mp3s
