Hi guys,
I'm using Microsoft Outlook on Win ME and I've been trying to setup a system where my parents can login separate accounts in ME and have their own private mailboxes within Outlook. Is there anyway to do that? So far all the mail for my mom and dad have been going into the same main inbox. Is there any other way to do it other than just sorting (using organize) the inbox into separate boxes? The main thing is to keep the mailboxes and accounts completely separate from each other, but I can't seem to do it right. Got any suggestions? Thanks |

On the right hand side, near the top, is an identity drop down box. Here you can change identites from one person to another with no real problems...

Are you talking about Microsoft Outlook 2000 or something else? I don't see this identity drop down box. Is it located within another drop down menu?

Okay have you create 2 profile within START>>SETTINGS>>CONTROL PANEL>>MAIL CLICK ON >>>>>SHOW PROFILE....hopefully you have two seperate profile in there if not create it. Its gonna ask how you access email: there are three choices I think yours will be Internet Mail. APPLY and exit. open up OUTLOOK. go to TOOLS>>OPTIONS>>MAIL SERVICES>> select>>> prompt for profile when Outlook starts. |
