Thumbs up Increase Reboot Speed

From the guys at PCMag:

Increase Reboot Speed

Warning: This tip is only for the most advanced users. Tweaking the Registry is very risky. Always back up the Registry before you make any changes. To increase the reboot speed of your computer, select the Start menu, Search, then choose For Files Or Folders. In the Named box, enter msdos.sys; in the Look In box, enter C:, then click on Find Now. Once the file appears, right-click on it, and select Properties. Deselect the Read-Only and Hidden attributes, then choose OK. Next, right-click on msdos.sys, choose Open With from the menu, enter Notepad as the opening program, then choose OK. Under Options, enter BootDelay=0 or BootDelay=1 on its own line. (This represents delays of 0 and 1 second respectively, both of which are faster than the 2-second default.) Save your changes, and close Notepad. Now, to return msdos.sys to its read-only and hidden states, right-click on it, select Properties, check the Read-Only and Hidden boxes, then choose OK. Finally, quit and restart your computer.

I haven't done this myself, but probably will soon.
