Switching between KDE and Gnome

Ok, I've been banging my head against the wall on this one. After booting Linux and logging into the console, I type "startx" which in my case launches KDE. I also installed Gnome but I have no idea how to launch it. My only "solution" is to only install Gnome when installing Linux. I've done several installs of Red Hat and Mandrake, but this is one of the few things I can't figger out. Help!

ps - if this is one of those things that should be filed under "duh", please be gentle.
