Working with ISO files
Is there any way to replace files inside an ISO image after you extract it from a CD? I know how to burn ISO images to make CDs, and how to extract files from an ISO image, but I've never figured out how to replaced files inside one, or if it's even possible.
Anyone? -OC

AFAIK, no. You can easily extract the files using an image program (I use Daemon Tools myself) but I don't believe you can change files and repack the ISO...I don't think ISO files work like that. I could be wrong, but I've never heard of that being done or being something that could be done. |

I'm pretty sure you can add stuff then repack. I don't really know much about Dreamcast ISOs but I'm pretty sure you have to do it to them to modify them depending on which model dreamcast you have.

I downloaded an ISO of a game from an ftp and some of the files were messed up. so instead of having to re download the whole thing i just loaded up the iso in either winiso or daemon tools (cant believe i forgot about that one) and replaced the corrupted files with properly working files, burned the iso to a disc and it worked perfectly.
