Duplicate files
anyone know of a program which will search through my computer and find dupe files and delete them. i have a huge collection of files which i downloaded (over 6gb) of which contain waaay too many dupes. i need to cut it down to make it easier to organize and back up to disc. i need a program which will look at more than just filename, because some of the files have slightly different filenames but are the exact same file. i prefer freeware, but if there is a good program which works very well, i dont really mind shareware.
thanks for any help. |

I've used Norton CleanSweep to do that in the past, but i haven't installed any of the recent versions. You can get it seperate or bundled in with Norton SystemWorks.
