CD Recovery Disk

can anyone show how to make a cd recovery disc w/ win2k.....similar the one that come w/ DELL,IBM< and etc....

you can make a backup image of your hard drive using a program such as norton ghost. this will make an exact copy of your HD so you can restore if something goes wrong.

ok..can I burn that image if its less than 750MB? and
how can I restore it?

yes, you can burn it. if it is smaller than 700mb it will only take on disc, a larger image can be burned on multiple disks. the two programs i can recall right now are ghost and drive image. my pick of the two is ghost. the newest version, ghost 2002, will backup directly to cd if you have a burner. the discs are bootable so to restore just insert the disc and reboot. the rest should be menu driven
