I have a Win2k server that half the time when I boot it up, one or more of the services does not start up Automatically. I can't manually start them because I get an error message saying that it could not start up on the local machine. In the past I have remedied this problem by just restarting the computer once or twice until it works again. However rebooting takes forever. Is there a trick to getting these services to work, without having to reboot? I have tracked down the dependencies, stopped and restarted each of them, but that doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?
