Question Windows XP guru's- please look here

Just a couple of Windows XP questions for you more advanced users. First of all, is there a way to set up multiple locations for a laptop running Windows XP, so that you can just enable different IP addresses wherever you go?

Also, I installed Windows XP on someones desktop machine. When I created the account I gave them Administrator privileges. However now when I try to install anything on their account, it says "Sys Admin has disabled this option". When I look at the list of users, he is the only user. I looked at his profile and it still says Administrator. Is there a way that I can log in an Administrator and make the changes I need? When I log out, and get to the splash screen, his profile is the only option.

Thanks gurus.

Thank goodness they finally did that...

I've gone to the seventh circle of hell and back dealing with users who are trying to operate between two offices with different network settings. Multiple network configs were supposed to be included in W2K, but they chopped it out for some reason.

Now, if only they can perfect that problem with the OS crashing when people drop their laptop down the stairs...
