Win XP Installation problem....

I've got a problem...I've got an old computer (P3 - 433Mhz, I think...) at home that's had Windows 98 till now. I'm trying to install Windown XP on it. I boot with the CD, it starts to copy files and everything, and when it gets to the first reboot, it pauses at the DOS screen and says:

Press any key to boot from CD......
NTLDR is missing
Press any key to restart.

When I press enter it just restarts the whole installation process...
I don't think it's a problem with the CD, cause I used it on my new computer and it installed just fine. Any ideas on what the problem might be?? thanks in advance!

Check your BIOS; you may need to flash an upgrade.

What kind of computer is it?

During the setup, I chose to reformat the HDD. So the previous version of Windows is no longer existent.

I had that problem one time when I was installing Windows XP. I followed the instructions in MS Knowledge Base Article - Q314057 and was able to fix the problem.
