anybody use this app called "CD Space?"
Well, my friend uses this program called CDSPACE. It copies CD's on to your HDD so you don't have to put them in everytime you run an app that needs a CD (ie games, etc.) Looked pretty convenient. Anybody use this? What are people's opinions?

I remember a program like this a long time ago. You can really do this for free now using a program which will mount a CD image. If you have Nero you can rip an image using that in .nrg format and use Nero ImageDrive to do the same thing. Or, my favorite virtual CD program, DaemonTools (link)

Sorry for my abruptly ending post, for some reason my keyboard switched to dvorak format in mid post, but only in Mozilla. Strangeness.
Anyways, about Daemon Tools, it will mount many different types of CD images and will emulate SafeDisc, LaserLok and Securom copy protections so if you have a game that uses that protection you can still use it. |
