deleting a partial download

I have a file on my computer that I partially downloaded from MIRC, the problem is, I am trying to delete but its not allowing me to. Is there any way around this that would allow me to delete it.

Do you have mirc still running? Try restarting your computer and deleting that. If that doesn't work, put a del in the autoexec.bat. That usually works for me.

Yeah, exit out of mirc completely and you should be able to delete it.

change the properties of the file, it's probably set to archive, so it won't delete...

maybe?

Isn't this a bug with windows XP? I can usually delete stuff from within Nero.

Thanks all, I got it deleted, it was something running in my task manager called rdpclip.exe (don't know what it is, though). I ended the process on it and I was able to delete it.

From the horse's mouth:
Quote:
Rdpclip.exe: File Copy

File Copy is an extension to Terminal Services server that allows you to copy and paste between server and client.

RdpClip allows you to copy and paste files between a terminal session and client console session. Using RdpClip, you can:

* Copy and paste multiple files and directories.
* Copy and paste on Windows 32-bit or 16-bit clients.
