IRC bot help please
I SO do not have a head for scripting, and I'm lost. I can get the bot into the IRC room, but he won't IDENT and so ends up as Guest.

you're using an eggdrop right? is there a config file for it?
i dunno if this is the same for yours...but on mines there's a config file that has all the scripts for the bot. there's one place to set the "ident" and another for "set username"...username being the bot since the bot is virtually a user on the irc server. hope this helps.
