Outlook Xp

I am using outlook XP on Ms Exchange mail system and when i use the desktop version it removes my mail from the server. so i cant see the messages in my webmail after i check them using the XP Desktop version. any ideas where the setting is to make it just sink my folders

Under the Advanced tab of More Settings for the account properties, there should be a check box that allows you to leave a copy of messages on the server.

that check box wasnt there for me.... i am using an exchange mail account if that makes a differance
