How to install a new Java VM version?

Anyone know how to do this?

I'm on Win2k. I have downloaded the version that is outlined by our software vendor. Any ideas? I have it in a VM directory.

Dave.

what problems are you having?
From what i know, if you go to:
http://java.sun.com/getjava/index.html

you should be able to get the newest version, which will update all old versions of JVM. If you need something more serious than just JVM try the JRE or even the SDK from http://java.sun.com

If you have any details on what problems your having, post them
