If I try to do the right click trick, only a small file will be saved. And everytime I double click it, real player would still need to download the whole file again from the server.

You need a program called StreamBox VCR 1.0 beta 3.1. However, it won't work out of the box to do what you want, you'll have to do a little google detective work to make it save Real streams.
Short of this, if you have a sound card that lets you record whatever is playing (e.g. What U Hear" on Creative cards) you could shut off all your system and application sounds, play the stream, and record it with Sound Recorder or any other recording utility.

Look in your Temp folder while you have it loaded in your player. It will have a crazy name like 1lkj2lyu3iou45vg.RAM but you should be able to tell by the file size and the date and time on it.
